What is included in the Professional Travel Planning Fee?

Vacation planning takes a lot of time and research, which is one reason to have a professional do it for you! It's not always easy to choose the right itinerary, hotel, cruise, or resort. The fee covers my expertise, research, planning time, and ongoing trip management, including assistance with all aspects of your itinerary—from flights and accommodations to tours, transportation, and dining reservations. The fee allows for up to 3 proposals in up to 2 destinations and is valid for 30 days. This fee is non-refundable and is considered a service fee for planning your trip.

How do I pay for the trip?

Once we confirm your itinerary and you are ready to make a deposit, I will send over a PCI compliant secure credit card authorization form and invoice. You will complete your credit card information and provide me authorization to make payments for the trip. Authorizing your card allows me to securely store your information and efficiently process future payments for your trip. You won't be charged immediately, but this authorization gives me permission to make necessary payments on your behalf.

Can I make payments on my trip?

Yes! There are two payment options for you to choose.

Option 1 Final Payment: After you pay your initial deposit, you will then pay the remaining balance about 60-90 days before your travel date. (Final payment date varies by Provider and will be discussed with you).

Option 2 Payment Plan: After you pay your initial deposit, you may pay the remaining balance in payments, up until the time your final payment is due. The payments will be charged to your credit card on or around the 15th of the month.

Can I make changes to my trip?

Yes, absolutely! After you’ve looked everything over during your initial proposal, you and I will talk through any changes that you would like to make before you are booked. I also typically book excursions/tours about 3 months prior to your trip. After items of the trip are booked, changes will depend on the Supplier’s terms and conditions. Please allow up to 48 business hours for any itinerary change.
